APS Expert Advisor Staff Review
These are the best for twing blocks on smaller keel boats or big dinghies. They're easily removed so if you end up in a light air situation you can easily take it off the sheet and hook it back on to the guy before a gybe. I've used them on an Etchells and they work great.
These are not the lightest blocks out there in this sort of size range, so if you leave your twings attached all the time these might not be the best option for you. Honestly though it makes rigging & de-rigging so much easier, especially if you have new or different crew. With these you don't have to re-run the whole spin sheet because somebody forgot to run it through the twings, you just clip them on.
Remember to check the working loads and get the right size for your boat - there is a bigger size of snatch block if these aren't big enough for your boat.
