How to Order EasyRigging |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Ordering EasyRigging with APS is well... easy. However, please note that you will need to accurately measure your existing rigging with all fittings (T-ball, turnbuckle, etc.) to ensure proper length and fit of delivered goods. 1. Download and print out an EasyRigging order sheet. 2. Following directions on downloaded order sheet take exact measurements of your existing rigging from bearing surface to bearing surface. Before taking any measurements, please go to http://www.apsltd.com/HowtoMeasureStandingRigging.asp. Note that your turnbuckles should be set to your normal (medium air) when taking measurements. 3. As directed, you will be asked to take detailed digital pictures of your existing rigging. 4. Once you have all the requested measurements, are ready to fax your completed order sheet and email required images, contact us to place your EasyRigging order. 5. Approximately two weeks after placing your order we will ship your EasyRigging to you. Below are two reference charts for you to determine what you'll need to outfit your boat with EasyRigging. For your convenience, everything on these charts is referrenced by the diameter of the current Rod standing rigging that you currently have on your boat. Using the charts below, you will be able to determine the weight savings that you will gain, the price per foot, the type and cost of the turnbuckles and t-ball forks that you will need for installation on your boat. If you have any questions about EasyRigging, please give us a call at 800/729.9767 during normal business hours (9:00am - 5:00pm Eastern Time) Monday through Friday to speak with one of our customer service representatives.

Ronstan Sealoc Calibrated Turnbuckles |
| SeaLocs offer accurate, repeatable settings and precise adjustment of rig tension. They are easily adjusted by turning the unique coupling nut which is free to rotate on the turnbuckle barrel and secured with a quick turn on the cone shaped locking nut. A sighting hole is provided in the coupling nut to verify adequate thread engagement. With single end adjustment and fine threads, Sealocs are much easier to adjust than conventional turnbuckles, and the use of dissimilar but compatible metals for the threaded components avoids the risk of thread seizures. Toggle ends insure universal movement and excellent load alignment. See page 107 for pin sizes. If you currently have Sealoc turnbuckles in serviceable condition, we can sell you a Sealoc specific threaded toggle so you can reuse the body and save on the expense of purchasing the whole assembly with your EasyRigging. |
