Brolga Rig Adjusters

The Brolga Shroud Adjusters are a breakthrough in quick rig adjustment - just grab the knurled cap and start twisting/adjusting. The top swage studs ride on ball bearings inside the knurled cap which allows the adjuster body to rotate freely and not twist your shroud. Dyform wire aids in preventing shroud rotation while making adjustment due to it stiff twist properties. Once you have finished your adjustments, simply screw the knurled lock nut into place.

To insure easy adjustments, on each race day you will need to lubricate the adjusting screw thread plus clearance gap between the swaging shaft and top round bearing housing with marine lanoline spay. These are the upgraded MkII that include knurled cap, larger ball bearings, larger diameter adjusting screw (was8mm, now 10mm)., adjusting screw manufactured from Nitronic 60 stainless steel which has anti gawling qualities.

Johnson Handy Lock Turnbuckles (Toggle/Swage)

Turnbuckles for backstays, inner forestays and shrouds. Handy Lock feature makes these fittings neat and compact. Positive locking without cotter pins or check nuts. No sharp corners to tear sails, threads fully protected. Adjustment is quick and requires no tools, just turn handles from lock position to adjust. C-series are calibrated. Johnson recommends that working loads not exceed 40 percent of the approximated breaking strength. Stainless steel construction.

Ronstan Sealoc Calibrated Turnbuckles

The calibrated Ronstan Sealoc turnbuckle is one of the worlds most technically superior rigging products. It is capable of withstanding extreme working loads without compromising weight or aesthetics. The outstanding performance of this product is achieved by way of the latest in raw materials and manufacturing techniques. The unique coupling nut, manufactured from aluminum silicon bronze, links the threaded terminal to the turnbuckle body. When rotated, the coupling nut draws the threaded terminal into the turnbuckle body. The bronze coupling nut eliminates thread seizure (galling) which is common where stainless threaded terminals thread into stainless bodies. A tapered lock nut locks the threaded terminal to the coupling nut and not the turnbuckle body.

This allows the wire to rotate freely without losing rig tension, helping to reduce wire fatigue. The body is laser etched with millimeter increments, allowing accurate stay adjustment to be made time after time - essential for the correct tuning of any racing rig.

The Sealoc Handle kit includes the black handle with a rotating arm. The kit's long rotating arm is ideal for maximum tensioning leverage, and lift with reposition operation for ease of use or for when rotation space is restricted. The rotation arm snaps into a snag-free lock down position when not in use.
