Trimkits provide an easy and stylish way of finishing a hatch installation inside the cabin. The trimkits come complete with a flyscreen to prevent mosquitoes entering the boat. The trim can be cut to length allowing the trimkit to suit a wide range of deck thicknesses. Trimkits can only be fit to boats with headliners.

Use of trimkits changes the cutout required for the hatch. Add 4mm to Cutout Length "X1" and Cutout Width "Y1", and add 2mm to Cutout Radius "R1". Low Profile Hatches require a minimum Hull Thickness of 15mm and a Maximum Hull Thickness of 62mm.

The retrofit lock and key kit can be fitted to any Lewmar hatch by drilling a hole through the acrylic and riveting a catch block to the lower frame. The lock and key are marinized to prevent corrosion.

The flyscreen hinge makes it easier to quickly access the hatch handles when the flyscreen is in place. It is only necessary to undo two tabs and the flyscreen will hinge down and not fall out. The flyscreen can be removed and stowed separately if required.
