H2703 Ti-Lite cars matched with Ti-Lite blocks provide a lightweight, low-profile system. High-teck line replaces shackles and spring. Control lines attach with a loop splice or clove hitch.

The Micro CB cars all have 40 3/16" Torlon Balls per car. Part number H2708 is a set of 20 balls.

All Micro CB cars require a minimum radius of 42" (1.07m) on curved track.

The Micro CB cars are designed for Harken's captive ball track, and will not fit older Harken track. Older, non-Captive Ball cars do fit on the new track designed for Captive Ball Cars. Micro track comes in low and high-beam configurations. The wide track base adds stability and protects cored decks. A channel on the track bottom makes it easy to install on unfair decks and eliminates rocking on curved surfaces like booms or masts. Fastener holes fit both metric and imperial screws. Track can be bent to various custom curves. See below for more information.

16mm control blocks spin on stainless steel balls that roll freely under high loads. The step-down design keeps the controls low and clear of the mainsheet block.

Super-tough plastic endstops absorb sudden shock loads that can occur during unintentional jibes.

Small Boat Captive Ball Traveler Cars are used on large dinghies, keelboats, beach cats and offshore boats to 27 ft (8m). The one-piece solid aluminum construction is lightweight and strong. Ball bearings run on machined aluminum Hardkote-anodized races for smooth trimming and easing. Stainless steel wire guides keep the balls captive when the car is off the track.

Cars with a 500 lb (227 kg) safe working load use Delrin balls (H176). Cars with a higher safe working load use high-strength Torlon balls (H177).

Harken Small Boat traveler controls allow installation of 2:1 to 4:1 purchases. Compact, high-strength Carbo AirBlock components combined with Micro Carbo-Cam cleats keep traveler weight minimal. Color code cleats using H424 fairleads. For angled cleating, install the H372 X-Treme Angle Fairlead.

Endstops and Trimcaps: Use H173 and H174 endstops for small dinghies and low-load situations. The H446 line-shedding endstop is low-profile and snag-free. The H263 and H264 heavy duty endstops absorb the shock loads of inintentional jibes and are used on larger dinghies and small keelboats. Use H2722 and H2723 trim caps to finish track ends when using control block assemblies. Sold in pairs. Fasteners not included.

Splice Links: Use the H2724 to join track and keep it aligned during installation.

Stand-up Toggles: The H2747 Small Stand-Up Toggle accepts 40mm double and triple Carbo AirBlocks and 57mm single and fiddle Carbo Airblocks. The H2748 Large Stand-Up Toggle accepts 57 mm double and triple Carbo AirBlocks.

Coupler: The H175 Coupler joins two cars for higher working loads. It is 3 11/16" (94mm) by 2 3/16" (56mm), weighs 4 1/2 oz (128g) and has a SWL of 1,500 lbs (680kg) and BS of 2,500 lbs (1134kg).

Wire High-Load Vang Block: The H384 couples with with a Small Boat car (especially the H382 Radial Traveler Car) to configure a radial vang. Sheave: 2" (51mm). Length: 2 3/4" (70mm). Traveler Kit, 3 to 1: The H2739 includes 1 x H2735, 1 x H2743, and 2 x H348. Purchase track, trim caps, and control lines separately.

Control Tangs: The H2749 Control Tangs can be mounted on a Small Boat Car, as seen on the H2753 Car, allowing you to attach control blocks.

Small Boat track comes in low or high-beam configurations. Use low-beam track when it's supported at each fastener hole. Use high-beam track when it must span a cockpit or other unsupported area. Choose between variable hole spacing and drilled for high-beam track.

Fasteners are 1 15/16" (50mm) from the end of the track on the metric track and 2" (51mm) on the Retrofit track.

Sail once with the windward sheeting traveler car and you'll never sail without one. Pull the car above the centerline without releasing the leeward control line. Tack, and the car stays in the same position, ready to be pulled to the new windward side.

Use the Windward Sheeting Adapter Kits to retrofit existing CB cars, or get a complete, ready-to-install car.

It's easy to breathe new life into your Harken windward sheeting car. You'll need two sets of sliders (HCP218) and two cleats (H150SP) per car you're rebuilding. The whole rebuild takes about 10 minutes and requires only a screwdriver. Parts work with Small Boat, Midrange and Big Boat Windward Sheeting Cars.

Track is often bent to follow the cabin house curve or boom radius. Sometimes track is bent vertically, ends up, to relieve tension on the sail's leech as the traveler car moves off the boat's centerline.

To perform smoothly and carry the correct load, the traveler car's length must suit track radius. Check the description of the traveler cars for their minimum radius requirements. Remember that you can couple two cars for higher loads on tighter radii.

Minor bends can often be made when the track is installed. If the track requires more bend, we can provide track with horizontal, vertical or compound curves to your specifications for a modest charge. If the bend is continuous, add 2 to 4 inches (50 to 100 mm) to each end because track cannot be bent to its ends. Standard Harken Mini-Maxi and Maxi traveler cars cannot ride on vertical bends with a radius under 50' (15.25m).
