Designed for offshore boats between 27 and 34 feet in length. H1508 and H1594 standard cars are suitable for end-boom sheeting of mainsails up to 240 square feet with a breaking strength of 5000 lbs and a safe working load of 1800 lbs. The H1509 and H1595 long cars are suitable for end-boom sheeting of mainsails up to 275 square feet with a breaking strength of 5000 lbs and safe working load of 2300 lbs. The H1604 2-toggle car has a breaking strength of 6000 lbs with a safe working load of 3000 lbs.

Harken mid-range traveler controls allow installation of purchases from 2:1 thru 4:1. Assemblies secure to the traveler track so there is no need to make additional holes in the boat. Ball bearing sheaves ensure cars adjust under load and release instantly in a gust. Cams are mounted on pivoting arms so control lines can engage or release from a variety of positions in the cockpit. Use the H1597 pin stop to provide a positive adjustable stop on tracks. These controls all have a breaking strength of 1500 lbs with the single sheave H1516 having a safe working load of 300 lbs and the double sheave controls having a safe working load of 600 lbs.
