| Construction: 100% Dyneema SK-75
AmSteel Blue is a 12-Strand braided rope utilizing Parallay design with Samson's proprietary blue Samthane coating with Dyneema® SK-75 fiber. This rope yields the maximum in strength-to-weight ratio and is stronger than wire rope constructions - yet it floats. Superior flex, fatigue and wear resistance. For better handling and cleating we can cover all or part of the AmSteel with a polyester jacket. Common Applications Uncovered:Primaries in cascades, vangs, traveler bridles, trapezes on dinghies. ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Construction: 100% Dyneema SK-90
AS-90 is a 12-strand braid using Dyneema SK-90 fiber. This rope has a 12% increase in strength and greater linear elastic stiffness, that results in less elongation with an increasing load when compared with other Dyneena fiber lines. Maintains the same lightweight, durable and easy handling that characterizes a Dyneema line. State of the art in terms of running rigging. Common Applications Mainsheets, jib/genoa sheets, spinnaker sheets, control lines, halyards and running backs. *Some diameters have a small yellow tracer in the line.

Vectrus 12 - Yale |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Construction: 100% Vectran
The single-braid construction of this line takes maximum advantage of the strength, negligible stretch, low weight and downsizing capabilities of Vectran. The line will not absorb water. Its coating gives this line a great UV stability, and improves abrasion resistance. One of the easiest to splice of all our single braided lines. For better handling and cleating we can cover all or part of the Vectrus 12 with a polyester jacket. Common Applications Uncovered: Primaries in cascades, vangs, traveler bridles, trapezes on dinghies. Great as a wire replacement. Covered: Main and headsail halyards, especially on big boats. Afterguys and asymmetrical tack lines.

Dynex Dux 75 - Hampidjan |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Construction: 100% Heat Set Dyneema SK-75
Have you ever noticed how the more a handle of supermarket bags stretch the stronger they become? Well, the same idea has been applied to this cordage by Hampidjan called Dynex Dux 75. This twelve strand braided line made from ultra high molecular weight polyethelene, refined by DSM in the Netherlands and known to the sailing world as Dyneema, is “pre-stretched” by Hampidjan through heating under tension to further align and compact fiber structure resulting in a “new” generation of ultra high performance rope. Up to 20-40% stronger than typical Dyneema/Spectra, and UV and abrasion inhibiter impregnated for superior abrasion resistance and longevity, Dynex Dux 75 does not suffer from the creep, or static load elongation, seen in other fibers while remaining incredible strong and lightweight. Developed originally for use in the marine towing and fishing industries Dynex Dux 75 is a great alternative to more expensive and less durable PBO. We see it being used in applications such as stripped Farr 40 halyards and uncovered steering cables as well as guys, backstays, or anywhere else creep is intolerable and weight saving crucial. For better handling or cleating we can cover all or part of Dynex Dux 75 with a polyester or hi-tech jacket. Common Applications Uncovered: Steering cables, backstays and other applications that need high strength, low stretch and greater durability than Vectran. Covered: Main and headsail halyards--especially on big boats. Afterguys and asymmetrical tack lines.

Ultrex 12 - Yale |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Construction: 100% Dyneema SK-75
This single-braid of SK-75 Dyneema offers a hard-to-beat combination of properties. SK-75 has low creep and is good for high static-load jobs like upwind halyards. The fiber is UV-stable and abrasion resistant. The MaxiJacket coating further enhances both of these "natural" properties. Dyneema does not absorb water, so it stays lightweight. One of the easiest to splice of all our single braid lines. For better handling and cleating we can cover all or part of the Ultrex with a polyester jacket. Common Applications Uncovered: Primaries in cascades, vangs, traveler bridles, trapezes on dinghies. Great as a wire replacement. Covered: Lightweight sheets for big boats, all halyards, tack lines.
