Construction: Dyneema/Polypropylene Cover with a Dyneema (SK-75) Core

This line is soft to the touch, but firm enough in construction to hold well in cleats. The cover texture makes it easy to hold on to under load. None of the marterials absorb water so it stays light. With a small diameter, 100% Dyneema SK75 core, stripping the jacket aggressively reduces line diameter and weight. Unlike other lines with 100% polypropylene covers, Excel Fusion has a blend of Dyneema and polyproplyne to better deal with abrasion and heat (melting) under high loads.

Common Applications:
Lightweight spinnaker sheets (cover stripped or unstripped) on dinghies and small keel boats like the Melges 24. Also makes a great dinghy mainsheet.
