Crystalyne - Yale |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Construction: Polyester Cover w/ 100% Vectran Core
Crystalyne couples a high-strength, negligible stretch Vectran core with Yale's hardwearing 24 carrier/3ply Thin Sleeve Technology (TST) cover. The cover is long-lasting and runs smooth. The core is lightweight and does not absorb water. This line is a workhorse; it operates at high percentages of its breaking strength with no creep or stretch. Perfect for high performance keelboats looking to aggressively downsize. Crystaline from 1/4" has Maxi Jacket to color code the cores, and lines 3/16" and below has clear Maxi Jacket. If you strip the line exposing the core, the Maxi Jacket will improve the UV resistance of the Vectran. Common Applications: Headsail and main halyards, afterguys, asymmetric tacklines.
Please Note: Line is priced and sold by the foot. Colors vary depending on diameter. |
