F/30 - Backstay |
|||||||
| F/30 Backstay Diameter: 1/4" Line Option:
Our F/30 Backstays are made from two options, Amsteel Blue or Dynex Dux. Amsteel is 100% Dyneema, making it low creep and good for high static-load jobs. The fiber is UV-stable and abrasion resistant. It does not absorb water, so it remains lightweight. Dynex Dux is very high performance, designed to not elongate with high loads while remaining incredibly strong and lightweight. Both options have sailmaker thimbles spliced into eyes on both ends. The masthead thimble is smaller than the deck end for a better fit and less weight. |
