The F/30 uses a modified Harken #310 thru-deck block as sheave boxes. They have wire bars welded to the cover plate to reduce halyard wear. If you only need to replace the sheave/sheave box then purchase the H310 and reuse your existing cover plate. |

Modified for the Farr 30, this sheave box has a custom plate with stainless steel bar bent around and welded to the plate. Intended for maximum wire/line diameter of 3/16", but we find that stripped halyards made of 5/16" double braid stripped to their ~3/16" (smaller) cores work and run better. Comes with both thru deck block and cover plate. |
