All rigging orders are processed on a first come, first served basis and our shipping dates are determined by the current volume of orders in our Rigging Department. | Melges 24 4:1 Main Halyard Diameter: 3/16" Line Options:
Our Melges 24 Main Halyard is made with 3/16" Vectrus 12 that is eye-to-eye spliced with 3/16" Amsteel Blue. There's a reeving eye on the Amsteel Blue section for ease of installation and the Vectrus 12 section has Yale Cover for tying to the sail. |

Melges 24 4:1 Main Halyard Melges 24 4:1 system consists of: The shackle snaps to the inline eye splice on the halyards once the sail is up. It attaches to an eye strap on the hull to starboard of the under deck mast support. Use our suggested 4:1 Main Halyard available above or 5’ of a 3/16” - 1/4” line of your choice. |

| Melges 24 Main Halyard Diameter: 5/16" Line Options
Our original main halyard is made from 5/16" Crystalyne, a durable, zero stretch line, perfect for halyards where you don't want it to slip. Available in a stripped or non-stripped version, they have a reeving eye on one end and the other is whipped for durability. |

Melges 24 Jib Halyard |

Melges 24 Jib Halyard Diameter: 3/16" 7x19 Wire Our Melges 24 Jib Halyard is made with 7x19 3/16” wire with aircraft eye for attachment to the sail. For attachment to the jib tensioning system we install a sailmaker eye; above the eye, we drill a small hole and install a 1/8" wire loop for attachment to a halyard leader for changing sails. If you need a hoisting tail, we make ours with 1/4" Yale Conception that has a reeving eye for installation and we will splice the tail to the wire loop for you. |

For use with a fixed forestay system, this jib halyard is made with no-stretch 3/16" Vectrus 12. We link the Vectrus to 3/16" Conception tail with two eye splices and end whip the Conception for durability. |

The Melges 24 Spinnaker Halyards are available both tapered or not. Non-tapered versions have dual end whips. Tapered version has a reeving splice. The AmSteel Blue is available covered or uncovered. The uncovered version has a equiplite swiveling shackle. The covered version is covered with Yale Cover Only for a good grip. |

Melges 24 Forestay Diameter: 3/16" 1x19 Wire Our Melges 24 Forestay is made with 3/16” 1x19 wire with sailmaker eyes on both ends. Melges 24 Class Rules state that the luff wire length needs to be between 8,520mm - 8,700mm; ours is made just under 8,700mm.
