Black Diamond Tiller by Acme

The original revolutionary Laser® tiller, improved by the addition of a 6" curved titanium wear plate. Made from carbon fiber with a matte finish, it's lightweight, stiff and strong. Ultra-low profile design is cut out underneath at cockpit end to clear the traveler cleat. Has the Ronstan V-Cleat for the rudder downhaul. Predrilled for Acme or other extension with an RWO universal. Features a more rounded top over the length of the extension, lower profile exit from the rudderhead and a shouldered universal mounting area for a more positive fit. Overall length 39". Weighs 11.5 oz.

Laser Performance Laser® Racing Tiller and Parts

These are the stock racing tillers on new Lasers®, now available with or without a tiller extension. The tiller is 1" anodized aluminum tubing with nylon rudderhead wedge insert and downhull cleat. Good middle of the road tiller - big improvement over the old wood tillers that drag on the deck and hit the traveler cleat. The tiller extension is a 48" RWO aluminum with foam grip.

OP Aluminum Laser® Tiller - Rigged

Super tough tiller is made with black 1-1/4 inch aluminum. Cast aluminum rudderhead insert fits snug and does not wear out. Comes with aluminum downhaul cleat and stainless steel wear plate. Is pre-drilled with one hole to be used as a guide for many popular extensions.

OP Aluminum Laser® Tiller - Unrigged

The same tiller as above, but tube is silver anodized with no downhaul cleat or universal base. Great for upgrading your existing tiller - just transfer the hardware off your old tiller to this one. 1-1/4 inch diameter tubing.

Rooster Sailing Carbon Laser® Tiller

The strongest tiller on the market, the Rooster Carbon Tiller is manufacturered on a mandrill with pre-preg materials to produce the most consolidated carbon fibers ever. Each tiller is additionally wound with 45 degree twill to improve strength, making it crush resistant.

Fitted with a stainless steel plate to prevent traveler wear and a cleat for easy handling of rudder downhaul.

WinDesign Carbon Laser® Tiller

Carbon fiber design with a high gloss finish. Ultra low profile design minimizes traveler line/block interference. Traveler line doesn’t touch when sailing upwind. Weighs less than 300 grams. Aluminum clam cleat for rudder downhaul line (This is the only difference we can find bwteen the WinDesign Tiller and the Laser Carbon tiller); stainless steel anti-chafe plate protects the tiller when traveler block hits during a tack. Predrilled for RWO, Jamaica and Acme extensions. Please Note: The hole spacing does not match the Forespar Giant Stick, they require flat head screws to install properly.

Both the Fatso and the Fatso Jr. are light, stiff carbon fiber construction. Fitted with RWO universals that rotate within the extension and a nonskid matte finish overall. One of our most popular tiller extension upgrade.

Forespar Big Stick Carbon Tiller Extensions

Each hand crafted extension includes Forespar's Speed Lock (SL) Universal which allows 360 degree rotation and is easily removed from the tiller. The 7/8" outer diameter extension has a sandpaper-like texture for easy gripping.

The universal is threaded into the extension and can be easily replaced on the water with just a wrench. Hole spacing of 1-1/4" matches most other brands so you can replace it with the Big Stick.

The Speed Lock Universal uses the same standard hole spacing as RWO and Ronstan universals.

Forespar Giant Stick Carbon Tiller Extenstions

Big brother to Forespar's Big Stick, the Giant Stick is 3/8" wider (1-1/4" diameter) with a more comfortable and positive feel.

The Giant Stick features three different options for universal connections to the tiller: the Speed-Lock, Sta-Fast or TFP Connection. This model is also easily customizable, so you will have no problem cutting it down to your desired length.

Available in 36" (91.5 cm), 48" (122 cm), 72" (183 cm) and 96" (244 cm) lengths.

WinDesign Carbon Tiller Extension

All the features of the deluxe extensions but made of 16mm unidirectional carbon covered with a braided carbon outer with a high gloss finish. Fitted with a releasable rubber joint/swivel and an eva foam grip. The releasable rubber joint/swivel has a rope core and is mounted with an Aluminum pin only. The pin is kept in place by a piece of heat-shrinkable tubing for easy replacement.

Laser Performance XD Laser Tiller & Extension

The tiller is made of carbon fiber with a matte finish -- the carbon construction and U-shaped design allows it to be super-stiff, strong and light. Clamcleat V-Cleat for the rudder downhaul and a stainless steel chaefe plate for the traveller.

The tiller extension is a straight carbon extension -- 24mm diameter. A non-agressive sandpaper-like texture is applied to the majority of the usable area to ensure fantastic grip.
