Recreational booms are standard in their setup - there are no cleats for the outhaul or cunningham, as on the Racing booms. If you have a Sunfish that has served faithfully on a beach or has not been actively racing, these are the booms for you. Please note that the Lower Boom does not include a gooseneck.

New Sunfish Mast Sleeve Retro Kit

Sleeves for stiffening and strengthening the mast are now installed on all Sunfish masts. The stiffener conssits of an aluminum sleeve inside the bottom of the mast section that inhibits lower mast bend for a stiffer more durable mast. A mast sleeve retrofit kit is available to equip previously purchased masts.

Sunfish Sheet Hangers

This pair of webbing straps velcros around your boom keeping your mainsheet from dropping down. Helps keep the slack out of the sheet and from snagging during a jybe.

Mast Wear Strips

Eliminates wear between fiberglass mast step tube and bottom mast section. Also shims mast to prevent movement and improve mast rake. Made from .5 mm wide UHMW tape with an adhesive backing. Class legal.

Sunfish Through Bolt Kit for Boom Eyestraps/Blocks

A simple and inexpensive way to ensure your mainsheet blocks do not pull out. Consists of all stainless steel machine screws, washers and nuts.

Requires a 5/32 inch drill bit to remove rivets from your boom.

Includes special small diameter waxed twine, stainless steel nuts, bolts, flat washers, lock washers and photo instructions.
