We Custom Make Rigging When You Order It
If you would like to use a wire/line type, diameter, length or configuration different than what we have listed below, give our Customer Service Department a call at (800)729.9767 and we’ll be happy to customize a solution for you. Please feel free to email us your comments and suggestions. When Will Your Order Ship? APS will contact you with within one business day with a day-definite shipping date for your rigging order. All rigging orders are processed on a first come, first served basis and our shipping dates are determined by the current volume of orders in our Rigging Department. Please be aware that at the peak of our season (May - August), rigging times may exceed three business days. |

J/22 Shrouds |

| We offer replacement J/22 shrouds with your choice of Ronstan’s Sealock calibrated turnbuckles (2-3/8” adjustment range) or traditional open body turnbuckles (3-5/8” adjustment range). You can add the Ronstan Quick Adjustment Handle Kit to the Sealocs for tool-less rig adjustments (sold separately). Wire type is 1 x 19 5/32". Please provide us the length of your existing shrouds at their normal sailing setting (medium air) from bearing surface of the T-ball to the bearing surface of the toggle at the bottom of the turnbuckle. Visit How to Measure Standing Rigging before placing your order. You may ship your existing rigging to us for reproduction if you prefer. |

J/22 Headstay |

J/22 Back Stay |

| Our J/22 backstays are made with 1 x 19 1/8” wire. The upper is a swaged marine eye and the bottom a swaged eye with a large lacing eye. We include 6’ of 1/8” spectra as an adjustable attachment (lacing) from the lacing eye on the upper backstay to the bow ring attached to the two lower legs of the back stay. The lower legs of the back stay are made of 1 x 19 1/8” wire with a nicro pressed eye at the top and a Johnson calibrated adjuster (2-3/4" adjustment range). Please provide us the length of your existing upper back stay from bearing surface to bearing surface of each eye. For the backstay legs provide us the length at it's normal sailing setting (medium air)from the bearing surface of the eye at the top to the bearing surface of the holes at the bottom of the adjuster plates. J/22 Delrin Shroud Keys from JCD |

These double-ended, delrin shroud keys hold the upper and lower shrouds at the swedge simultaneously. They are 3 3/8" long overall, with an inside measurement of 2 1/2". In addition to eliminating the need for an extra tool to hold the wire, these keys are also good for keeping the adjustments from moving. Secure into place with electrical or rigging tape. 05/28/04 |
