When Will Your Order Ship?
APS will contact you with within one business day with a day-definite shipping date for your rigging order. All rigging orders are processed on a first come, first served basis and our shipping dates are determined by the current volume of orders in our Rigging Department. Please be aware that at the peak of our season (May - August), rigging times may exceed three business days.

Lightning Wire-Rope Main Halyard

Lightning main halyards are 7x19 3/32” wire spliced to 3/16” double braid line. Three halyard stop balls are swaged starting about 3” from where the wire begins, each 1-3/8” apart. We need you to supply the length from the shackle pin to the fist stop ball when ordering. The line portion is left long intentionally to be cut to the desired length once installed on your mast.

Lightning Wire-Rope Jib Halyard

Lightning jib halyards are 7x19 1/8” wire spliced to 3/16” line. Three halyard stop balls are swaged starting about 3” from where the wire begins, each 1-1/4” apart. We need you to supply the length from the shackle pin to the fist stop ball when ordering. The line portion is left long intentionally to be cut to the desired length once installed on your mast.

Lightning Mast Cleated Spinnaker Halyard is made shorter than our deck cleating spinnaker halyard. It is made of either a Dyneema core or a Polyester core. Paraloc Marlin is a Dyneema core with polyester cover and is durable, low stretch and easy to secure in cleats. Super Pre-Stretch and Excel Pro are polyester core that has slight stretch, durable and cleats and runs well.

All have ends whipped for durability. The Paraloc Marlin is 5/32" and has a stopper ball on the end.
