Our Ensign padded hiking straps start with 2” wide low stretch webbing. Seven feet of the middle of each strap is padded with closed cell foam on both sides, then covered in Sumbrella marine fabric which last longer that any other fabric in the sun. They are made to run from the cabin bulkhead in the front of the cockpit to the stern cockpit bulkhead. One end has a sewn loop for attaching with a footsman’s loop (screwed in strap) while the other is unfinished and secured to an adjuster slide (webbing buckle) that is screwed to the bulkhead. Sold as a pair. Our hiking straps are made of the best materials, last for ages and greatly increase your sailing comfort. Sold as a pair. Hint - Try tying up the forward end with some 3/16" shock cord to keep the strap suspended and easier to get your feet under.
