Primary Winch The Harken 32.2 black aluminum winches are the standard primary winch on the J/80. Keeping gears/bearings properly greased and paw/springs oiled is critical to good performance. Paws (008) and springs (038) are sold in the HBK4512 kit (10 of each). Other replacement winch parts are easy to order - please contact us. |

The B6 features a simple Delrin®-bearing sleeve. This bearing is almost maintenance free and requires only occasional cleaning. |

All of these products are advised for use in routine maintenance of your Harken winches, to ensure proper performance and long life:
Harken Winch Grease: a non-aging, high adhesive synthetic lubricant. It is resistant to both salt and fresh water, and protects metal gears, roller bearings, and all moving winch parts from corrosion and wear. Note: do not grease pawls, plastic rollers or balls. Harken Pawl Oil: used to lubricate pawls and springs for maximum performance. |
