When Will Your Order Ship?
APS will contact you with within one business day with a day-definite shipping date for your rigging order. All rigging orders are processed on a first come, first served basis and our shipping dates are determined by the current volume of orders in our Rigging Department. Please be aware that at the peak of our season (May - August), rigging times may exceed three business days.

3/16” wire halyards with a crimp swaged on Tylaska H5 main halyard shackle, two halyard lock swage balls (one for full hoist and one for a reefed hoist), and a 5/16" tail. Cover is stripped to expose the 3/16” (5mm) core, and is then spliced to the wire. The bitter end has a reeving eye for easy installation in your mast.

The Melges 32 Jib Halyard is a stripped 5/16" line with a luggage tag eye on the working end so you can easily attach a Tylaska TY5 snap shackle (sold seperately), and a reeving eye at the bitter end for easy mast installation with a messenger eye.

High Performance

Dyneema SK-75 single braid; minimal stretch with zero water absorption

Prevents spinnaker twists with a class legal EquipLite swiveling Dyneema shackle. We splice a short DCS Dyneema chafe cover at the shackle end for the best wear resistance at the halyard exit. This is done while splicing on the EquipLite shackle. Yale Cover Only is added to the tail leaving the hoisted length stripped and lightweight. The bitter end has a reeving eye foe easy mast installation with a messenger eye. Includes a stop ball at the shackle.
