Great for hiking and dinghies and often preferred for intense buoy racing too. Hand made in France. 16° back angle for hiking comfort and non-skid, lug sole to prevent hydroplaning. These boots really conform to your foot like an athletic shoe. Well worth the price; your last pair of running shoes probably cost more.

Here's a neat trick that's been popular for years: use two sections of 1/8" shock cord to replace the laces. It makes the boots more comfortable to move in and helps them last even longer too! You'll need two sections of at least 3 feet each to replace the laces on one pair. The shock cord listed below is sold by the foot.
