What is Micronet? |

Micronet transmitters and transducers send data to the diplays via a wireless link, which leads to a number of major advantages:
The Micronet system also provides you with the ability to choose what features you want to have. Simply decide what data you feel you need to have displayed, and choose the transducers or transmitters that fit the need (i.e. depth, wind speed and direction, speed, etc.). A single digital display is all that you need to accomidate the data from all of your transducers and transmitters. Should you decide later to add another display to your system, it is simple and easy to do. Take it out of its box, switch it on and hold it next to your existing display. It will tune itself into your boat's unique signal and become part of the system. Once you’ve figured out all of the necessary items, your just a few clicks of the mouse away from having a customized, wireless solution for your boat. n the event that you have a Coach Boat following you around the course, it can monitor data from your system via a display tuned to the same channel. The data is sent by the NMEA Interface on the race boat, and can be saved to a computer aboard either boat for evaluation later. |

Maxi Display |

| A mast display designed for racing yachts with high contrast, super-large digits 50mm (2 inches), providing highly visible and accurate data in all conditions from anywhere on your boat. The black background ensures minimal disturbance to your night vision and the red and amber backlight options allow you to select a different colour for different data displays. You can customize the display to show only the data options you want to see, minimizing the time it takes to select the pages you really need. Alternatively you can use the innovative ‘Auto Leg’ function which changes the display automatically to show the information you need for each leg of the course without the need to press a button. You can maximize your performance using the Line Bias, Wind Shift and Timer functions together with indicators for acceleration and speed trend. In addition the Set, Drift, Turn and Course to Steer functions will give you the edge by helping you to spot your tides. The Remote Display not only provides you with additional performance data and graphing pages to monitor trends but is also essential to control and configure your Maxi Displays from anywhere on your boat. |

The Digital Display has a very large readout at 38mm and shows any single data type that is available on the system. Custom pages may also be created using performance sailing software on a PC. Combine the Digital Display with the the necessary mn100 Series Components (shown further down this page) in order to create a customized system for your boat. Also available are Value Packages (also shown further down this page), which come with all of the components necessary for many popular set-ups, but at a price lower than that of purchasing the components separately. The digital display comes with a White, Grey and Carbon Black bezel for you to customize the look of your display to that of your boat.
