This is a multi-purpose bag that is perfect for any wet gear, but is designed specifically to facilitate the drying of lines and halyards at the end of the day while limiting exposure to harmful UV. Constructed with a durable Cordura shell, this bottom and sides have large areas of mesh to facilitate the movement of air through the bag.
On the inside of the bag, there are loops on either end for lines/halyards to be tied to; the bag has an exterior loop that can then be hung off the boom (or anywhere else) to let air pass through for quick drying. The major advantage to this is that you protect your UV sensative lines (any polypropylene cordage or high tech line) from direct exposure, extending their life exponentially. Also great for simply carrying lines to and from the boat or for neat storage below decks. Works well with gear and clothing too, as air is always able to circulate through the bag -- no more musty/moldy smell when you open your bag and find that wet t-shirt you forgot about! |
