Harken ESP Singles and Fiddles

ESP stands for Elegant Simple Products and as a line they complement other Harken blocks in looks and function but are simpler in design and construction. Sheaves feature axle bearings to handle high static loads and are ideal for halyards or limited purchase systems on cruising boats. Available in many different configurations, ESP blocks can serve whatever function is needed on your cruising boat.

Harken ESP Footblocks

Harken ESP Footblocks
ESP stands for Elegant Simple Products and as a line they complement other Harken blocks in looks and function but are simpler in design and construction. Sheaves feature axle bearings to handle high static loads and are ideal for halyards or limited purchase systems on cruising boats.

ESP Footblocks are used for reef lines and genoa sheets where the angle is not extreme. They can be stacked, but the upper block will have a Safe Working Load and Breaking Strength of 2/3 of a single by itself. Lockoffs are intended to hold lines temporarily and should not be used in place of line stoppers or clutches.

Harken ESP Mastcollar Blocks
Harken ESP (Elegant Simple Products) blocks are designed for cruising applications. As a line they complement other Harken blocks in looks and function but are simpler in design and construction, making them ideal for cruising applications. Sheaves feature axle bearings to handle high static loads and are ideal for halyards or limited purchase systems on cruising boats.

Mast collar blocks come in many different variations, depending on application. The teardrop-shaped Mastblocks are for direct attachment to padeyes or mast collar posts to keep lines extremely close to the deck. The Padeye teardrop blocks are specifically designed to mount to padeyes and have hourglass-shaped head spacers to seat on the padeye bail. The 57mm and 75mm mast collar blocks are for use on production boats with mounting posts on the mast collar.
