Harken's smallest block, the 16mm is perfect for small synthetic control lines found on high-tech dinghies. The patented bearing system uses stainless steel balls in a captive, grooved race. The safe working load of 250lbs is the highest on the market for similarly sized blocks. Great for dinghy control lines, big boat leech lines, downhauls, traveler controls, spinnaker pole trip lines, outhauls, cunninghams and halyards on prams.

The H404 has an O-Ring (replacement HSB340) and the H442 has a spacer which keep the line on the sheave during intermittent loading.

Low-friction Micro blocks are compact and lightweight, with fast trim and release under high or low loads. Ideal for sailboards, smaller dinghies and for lightly loaded control lines on boats of all sizes. They feature free-rolling Delrin ball bearings, a 7/8" (22 mm), UV-stabilized with carbon-black additive for maximum protection sheave, and stainless steel sideplates.

Great for cunninghams, outhauls, vangs, traveler controls, barberhaulers, flag halyards, leech cords and lead car return tackles.

These are Bullet Blocks upgraded for use with wire with roller bearings, which carry higher loads than ball bearings and Teflon-impregnated, Hardkote-anodized aluminum sheaves. Wire sheaves are dark grey compared to non-Wire Bullet Blocks' black sheaves, which can help you tell them apart.  Sheaves are 1-1/8 inch (29mm) and support a max wire size of 5/16" (8mm). Use these blocks for halyards and other small boat wire controls or for more highly loaded high-tech lines.

Harken has combined their Bullet Blocks with their Cam Cleats in several very useful configurations. Harken Bullet Blocks have ball bearing sheaves for a minimum of friction. Sheaves are 1-1/8 inch (29 mm) and support a max line size of 5/16" (8 mm), though in some cases Micro cleats limit line to 1/4" (6 mm) (see below).

Low-friction Big Bullet Blocks have a huge range of uses. Compact and lightweight, they trim and release fast under high or low loads on free-rolling Delrin ball bearings. Sheaves and sideplates are UV-stabilized with carbon-black additive for maximum protection.

Low-profile Dinghy blocks are compact and lightweight, with fast trim and release under high or low loads. They are designed for dinghies and control lines on larger boats. Do not use light-duty Dinghy blocks on heavy course racing keelboats, scows or catamarans.

These blocks feature free-rolling Delrin ball bearings, UV-stabilized sheave and sideplates, and high-strength stainless steel side straps.

On the non-swivelled Dinghy blocks, the in-head shackle minimizes block length for purchase power in a limited space. On the H021 and H022 Singles the shackle can be rotated 90°, or even inverted so that the block can be shackled directly to a tang. Inverting the shackle requires another 3/16" (5 mm) clevis pin, not included.

The 2.25" (57 mm) is the original Harken block. They are compact and lightweight, with fast trim and release under high or low loads. Use for main or jib sheets, shippaker halyards or control lines on dinghies, scows, beachcats and iceboats, as well as small offshore racers and cruisers.

These blocks feature removable beckets to allow easy attachment of pre-spliced line, a set screw that locks the shackle in front or side positions or allows it to swivel freely, free rolling Delrin ball bearings, and UV-stabilized sheave and sideplates.

The 3.00" (76 mm) blocks are compact and lightweight, with fast trim and release under high or low loads. Use for main or jib sheets, shippaker halyards or control lines on dinghies, scows, beachcats and iceboats, as well as small offshore racers and cruisers.

These blocks feature removable beckets to allow easy attachment of pre-spliced line, a set screw that locks the shackle in front or side positions or allows it to swivel freely, free rolling Delrin ball bearings, and UV-stabilized sheave and sideplates. The High-Load versions use Torlong bearings and forged stainless shackles, and the Wire version has a Harkkote-anodized, Teflon impregnated aluminum sheaves for strength and corrosion resistance.

Little Hexaratchets grip loaded sheets, yet allow line to be eased with complete control and provide fast trim and release under high or low loads. They feature Hardkote-anodized, Teflon impregnated eight-sided sheaves machined from solid aluminum for strength and corrosion resistance, free-rolling Delrin ball bearings, UV-stabilized sheave and sideplates and high-strength stainless steel straps.

Use the H043 Single, Counterclockwise with the H019 Single, Clockwise on spinnaker and jib sheets where the ratchets must rotate in opposite directions and on/off switches must face up. Note that the counterclockwise slider switch is white, while blocks with clockwise ratcheting have black sliders.

The H041, and H398 are being phased out and are only available by special order for matching existing systems. For new systems, please consider the 57mm Carbo Ratchets and Ratchamatics.

Hexaratchet II+2 blocks grip loaded sheets, yet allow line to be eased with complete control and provide fast trim and release under high or low loads. They provide 15:1 holding power with a 180° wrap and 50 lb (23 kg).

They feature Hardkote-anodized, Teflon impregnated eight-sided sheaves machined from solid aluminum for strength and corrosion resistance, free-rolling Delrin ball bearings, UV-stabilized sheave and sideplates and high-strength stainless steel straps.

Use the H044 Single, Counterclockwise with the H009 Single, Clockwise on spinnaker and jib sheets where the ratchets must rotate in opposite directions and on/off switches must face up. Note that the counterclockwise knob switch is white, while blocks with clockwise ratcheting have black knobs.

The H045 and H091 are being phased out and are only available by special order for matching existing systems. For new systems, please consider the 75mm Carbo Ratchets and Ratchamatics.

Use Harken Hexa-Cat Bases to build powerful mainsheet systems and tackles. In a Hexa-Cat system the upper and lower blocks swivel independently so the cam block pivots to face the trimmer even when the main is sheeted hard. Hardkote-anodized aluminum 3.00 inch (76mm) ratchet sheaves on the H170 and Hardkote-anodized aluminum 2-1/4 inch (57mm) ratchet sheaves on the H193, both with free-rolling carbon-black filled ball bearings for a minimum of friction.
