Aquabattens offer many advantages. They are preferred in more modern designs, where long battens are permitted and the battens extend further into the body of the sail. Standard: The forward tip is soft, while the leech end has a stiffness comparable to the extra stiff battens. Stiff: These battens are designed for use in the intermediate positions in the sail where it requires more roach support, or alternatively for use in the top position in heavier weather conditions. Extra Stiff: Designed for use in intermediate and lower positions in the sail, where the requirement is to keep the leech very flat. End caps are sold seperately. Length exclude end caps.
