| Construction: Dyneema SK-75 & Spun Polypropylene Blend
The lightest line we sell! The Dyneema SK75 and polypropylene has excellent strength and elongation characteristics. Because the polyester is spun, the line has a "fuzzy" texture and is easy to hold onto. Does not absorb water so it stays light. It even floats. FYI - Some say the 3/8" runs a bit "fat". Common Applications: Good control line on keelboats. Jib sheets, spinnaker sheets or mainsheets on dinghies. *** Note on Diameter - diameter for this line is measured with a slight load. Without a load, this line may appear to be thicker than it's nominal diameter.

Because of its composite construction, XLS Extra has a great low-stretch performance and costs less than 100% Dyneema-cored lines. Lightweight core combines Dyneema for strength and polypropylene for inexpensive bulk. Suited for tasks that don't require the strength of pure Dyneema, but need larger diameters for cleating, clutching, or handling. Common Applications: Mainsheets, jib sheets and control lines. Keelboat genoa and spinnaker sheets.
