Ronstan's Nicro snatch blocks are convenient solutions for temporary leads and line deflection. All have an easily operated latch mecanism and soft resilient cheeks to reduce clatter and protect gelcoat and painted surfaces. Snap shackle heads swivel through 360°, and the snap shackles are investment cast grade 15-5PH stainless. Blocks with trunnion snap shackles allow additional articulation from side to side, making it easier to get a fair lead at low angles, such as when mounted on a toe-rail. All feature a 316 stainless steel frame and load straps. Roller bearings on blocks that have them are also 316 stainless. Cam Lock versions have a simple rotating cam mechanism for positive closure and easy opening.

Harken Snatch blocks feature low-friction roller/ball bearing sheaves and a unique push-button latch for one-handed operation. The opening side allows sheets to be inserted without reeving a free end through the block.

For general spinnaker use. Soft cheeks on size 1-3 snatch blocks feature soft synthetic rubber cheeks to handle rough treatment and the new Synchro snap shackle. Nylon dipped anodised aluminum cheeks on size 5.

These innovative new snatch blocks feature a hard anodized and teflon coated revolving cheek plate which opens in either direction. A spring-loaded safety ball and set screw lock and unlock the cheek plate. Constructed with a high strength resin sheave, composite fiber main bearing and double side ball bearings. Side rubber protection is replacable and comes in yellow or black, and the entire block is easily dismantled for cleaning and maintenance. There is an extra small eye on the fixed cheekplate for a hanging cord. A rounded eye at the bottom is perfect for luggage-tagging this block to a padeye or toe-rail.
