The children are our future and you need to protect the future, right? Well, our selection of foul weather gear for junior sailors is sure to protect your younger sailor from the elements when they hit the water.

APS carries two distinctly different types of kids foul weather gear - cruising foulies by Gill that are designed for the junior sailor that will be tagging along on the family cruiser (think 25' boats and longer) and dinghy gear for smaller boats that is designed for sailors on smaller boats that needs a little more range of movement and splash protection.

For the cruisers, we have Gill's Junior Cruise line -- this jacket and trouser combination is waterproof and breathable for extended wear comfort. This gear also serves as great general rain gear as well.

For the smaller boat sailor, we have options from both Gill and Henri Lloyd. The Junior Pro Dinghy line is a smaller version of Gill's ultra popular dinghy gear for adults. It is ideal for smaller dinghies and boats but is also versatile enough for sailing on any size boat. Gill also offers their Junior Thermal Dinghy Top, which is a great cold weather option thanks to its rugged softshell outer layer and warm fleece inner lining.

Rounding out this category is Henri Lloyd's Junior TP1 Stealth Dinghy Smocks. The Stealth smocks are durable yet lightweight, providing easy-to-wear comfort for your junior sailor while still having the durability to stand up to the punishment kids seem to put gear through.
