J/22 Backstay System The J/22 Backstay system is made up of two 29mm Wire Bullet Blocks with either a: 29mm Carbo Block or 29mm Bullet Block Wire Bullet blocks use roller bearings to carry higher loads and feature Hardkote-anodized Teflon® impregnated aluminum sheaves for strength and corrosion resistance. Bullet blocks are compact and lightweight, with fast trim and release under high or low loads. A range of styles lets these blocks adapt to almost all control line applications. They have free-rolling Delrin® ball bearings, sheave and sideplates UV-stabilized with carbon-black additive for maximum protection. Carbo Blocks are low-friction, lightweight, strong, reliable—and affordable. Sideplates of high-strength engineering resin are UV stabilized to provide excellent protection against long-term exposure to salt water and sun. |
