APS Race Marks |

We set out to make practical racing marks that will hold up for multiple seasons without breaking the bank. Our marks are custom manufactured out of a UV stable PVC - thick enough to hold up to substantial abrasion. The marks are assembled with wide heat sealed seams to prevent blow outs. Inflation/deflation is accomplished by two methods. Minor adjustments are through the 1/2" wide two-way valve on top. For complete inflations/deflations unscrew the valve assembly to use the 1" wide inflation base. Both have air tight "O" ring seals and lanyards to prevent loss. Four large welded eyes on the bottom provide multiple attachment points for ground tackle (fancy name for anchor stuff). Marks are 4 foot tall and 32 inches wide. The 32" x 32" marks work without a counterweight but work much nicer with a 2lb counterweight. The 48" x 32" marks needs a 5lb counterweight. Inflation Reminder |

Plastimo Training Buoy Yellow - 53" x 10.2" Great for training, it can be used as a drifting buoy or traditional fixed buoy. Made of heavy duty PVC 1100 Decitex, it has a ballast pocket with hook and loop closure that can hold up to 31lbs (14kg). Great for holding ballast or to store unused anchor line. It has many grab handles to make moving buoys during a practice much easier. It has an overall length of 73.3" (53" above water when fully inflated). Crewsaver Racing Marks Orange 2.5', 4', 5', 6', 7' or 9' Dumpy, Cylindrical or Pyramid Double skin construction, with a heavy duty outer cover protecting the inner inflator resulting in a lightweight but tough buoy. Easy to handle, simple to deflate and compact to store when not in use. A mooring harness complete with thimbles for ground tackle comes fitted to the base. To stabilize the buoys in water, a 56 pound weight should be attached to the 4, 5 and 6 foot buoys and a 112 pound weight to 7 and 9 foot models (we have found that most people are using about half of the recommended stabilizing weight with good results and less back problems).
