APS Fox 40 Pealess Whistle

Race Committee Starting Line Indicator
	Hand-made of lightweight wood dowel, the vane has a brass bushing and rotates on a bead bearing. Front tip is weighted for perfect balance. The vane is made of waterproof Mylar. Those who have used these claim they are by far the most sensitive wind indicators available. Allows you to sight a perfectly square line. From the race committee boat, hold this at arms length while facing the starting line, and sight down the marks on the "wings" to direct the placement of the pin end.

Race Committee Course Display Digits

A customer showed us these one day and and asked if we could find him more for his club race committee. Our search took us down under to Australia and now we offer these here in the US. We have seen three of these mounted to a single back board and hung on the race committee boat to show the bearing to the weathermark. Just under a foot high, they are very readable, with a black foreground and bright yellow background. Just slide the shutters open or shut to create any digital number.
