Convex aluminum alloy keel band, mounting holes undrilled or drilled and counter sunk evry 4 inches. Supplied in pairs; each piece is 5 feet long. Another product -- Banding Fairing is used when mounting keelbanding to a flat hull surface (without a recess for the banding to sit down flush with the hull).
Weighs 44 grams. Gaskets are sandwiched between the hull and keelbanding to keep water from shooting into the centerboard well/trunk. Gaskets are 67 inches long by 1-3/4 inches wide.
Due to the overall dimensions of the Keelband (both drilled and undrilled), our carriers classify them as "oversized". Please click here for more information.
