Melges 24 Mainsheet Upper Blocks Melges 24 Mainsheet upper blocks are a Harken 57mm Carbo Single and a 57mm Carbo Single with Beckett. Harken Carbo Blocks are lightweight, strong and free running which make them great for mainsheet blocks. Carbo blocks are 60% stronger and 30% lighter than classic blocks, with fitted races for ball bearings that allow for increased load capacity. |

Melges 24 Mainsheet Traveler System The Melges 24 Traveler System is made up of Carbo Double block mounted on a small boat car secured to a T-Track. The Cars are captive ball cars made of one piece solid aluminum construction, which is lightweight and strong.

This cam bracket is a perfect way to make tacking easier. This bracket moves the cam cleat mounted on the horizontal portion to a higher position off the deck, making it much easier to lock down on the leeward side before tacking. You'll only need to drill one additional hole, as two of the three attachment points use the same holes for the upper cam cleat. The bracket does not come with integral turning block, but the Harken #106 Wire Bullet Single Thru-Deck is a perfect fit -- bend the tabs on the block to fit flush with the bracket. Cams and turning block are sold seperately, although existing cam cleats can easily be re-used. |
