A Lycra outer layer with Taslite insets in critical wear areas for abrasion resistance and long wear.

We sell the 13" socks that come up high on the leg for the best protection. Pair these with your favorite sailing shoes for the ultimate in wet shoe, dry foot comfort. Wear a non-cotton sock liner for even more comfort or an insulated boot sock for greater warmth.

Important Sizing Note:
Unlike a normal cotton sock that has a bit of elasticity built into the material, Gore-Tex has almost no give at all. To ensure that you can get the sock on, we highly recommend purchasing these socks one size larger than your normal foot size.

Additionally, if you are planning on pairing these socks with a warmer/bulkier sock, you might purchasing these socks two sizes larger than your normal foot size. Finally, if you have a half-size foot (say, a 10.5), round up one and a half sizes (to a 12, in this example).
