	What’s your name? Nickname(s)? Katherine; Katie If you could have chosen your own name what name would it be? ...? What’s your position at APS? Marketing Associate How long have you been with APS? Since June 2009 What’s your favorite boat to sail? Anything & Everything Do you collect anything? I have a pretty serious Christmas ornament collection. Where are you from? Simsbury, CT Have you ever eaten a crayon? Probably When did you start sailing? At age 9, when my Mom snuck me in to OYC (I was pretty close to being the necessary 10). What’s your most memorable experience sailing? Ah, just one?! Junior team racing was always a great time. Once, I thought I could hold down a 420 with a 100lb crew in 25kts and 5ft rollers during a team race. What boat(s) are you sailing now? Anything I can. This summer it's been Thistles, Lasers, J/80's, J/22's, J/24's, J/105's, Farr 40s and a Farr 395. Oh and in the winter I sailed a DN Ice Boat... it was fast. Queso or Guacamole? Guac. What do you do when you’re not sailing or working at APS? Skiing, beach, traveling...and watching any Boston sports team. What weighs more, a pound of feathers or a pound of bricks? Is this a trick question? If you were a boat what kind of boat would you be? Why? I think being a pirate ship would be pretty cool... but I don't necessarily want to help kill and plunder. Well, mostly the killing...the plundering wouldn't be too bad. What is your favorite regatta venue? hmm... maybe not favorite for wind or actual sailing... but I have to say Two Rivers Yacht Basin in Chesapeake City, home of the Delaware Fighting Blue Hens Sailing Team. What’s your favorite brand of gear? I don't play favorites Do you have any hidden talents? Wouldn't be hidden if I told (my cover up for not really having any). What’s your favorite piece of sailing gear? Currently, the Harken Black Magic Full Finger Gloves. They're doing a great job attempting to keep my hands from falling apart. Is there anyone you’d like to thank? My parents for signing me up for Sailing classes at the Orleans Yacht Club and my grandparents for letting me crash at their house for summers for 12 years!
