Laser Rudder and Daggerboard GRP Laser foils are class legal. Composed of epoxy reinforced glass fiber with a polyurethane foam core, the most sophisticated composite manufacturing process available for this component. With increased durability over the previous version, they are a fiberglass construction with a foam core. Trailing edges and tips are far more durable than previously. Glossy, smooth finish. Available as a rudder blade, rudder complete or daggerboard. Rudder complete comes with 3/16" bushing assembly. Daggerboard includes Stop. Includes Care and Repair Instructions.

Engineered by Laser Performance the friction pad is a must have upgrade for your Laser. The MkII friction pad allows you to adjust the friction on your daggerboard - just slide the pad fore and aft to increase/decrease the friction on your board. The MkII's innovative design and materials make it longer lasting and more effective than the old W-shaped friction pad Laser sailors are used to. New fasteners are included with this item and the hole spacing of this second generation friction pad match up with that of the first generation -- no new holes.

This set up is the best way to control your daggerboard. Easy on/off attachment to the blade with an ultra lightweight snap shackle. Eliminates daggerboard creep with sailing upwind by applying maximum pressure vertically rather than horizontally like the traditional bow attachment.
