Since June 2010 What’s your favorite boat to sail? Henderson 30 Do you collect anything? Memories Where are you from? Dirty Jerz Have you ever eaten a crayon? No crayons but plenty of Play Doh and sand...hmmm sand When did you start sailing? When I was a teenager but I started racing in college. What’s your most memorable experience sailing? A delivery in a Henderson 30 from St. Mary’s to Annapolis, blowing 20 out of the south, surfing on 4+ ft waves short-handed, flying the spinnaker. What boat(s) are you sailing now? J/105, Beneteau 44.7, Lightning, anything really. Queso or Guacamole? Easy… guacamole What do you do when you’re not sailing or working at APS? Run, play with my dog , sometimes both at the same time… aha! What weighs more, a pound of feathers or a pound of bricks? aha! A pound of bricks, naturally If you were a boat what kind of boat would you be? Why? Henderson 30, there isn’t a whole lot about me that’s not built for speed… What is your favorite regatta venue? Solomon’s Island or Annapolis, I like Maryland… What’s your favorite brand of gear? Do you have any hidden talents? I speak Mandarin conversationally, but I guess that’s not so hidden any more.
