Boomkicker by Seoladair |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The Seoladair Boomkicker works in conjunction with your existing vang tackle to support your boom, allowing you to keep the leach of the main open in light air. Also (and perhaps more importantly) supports the boom when the mainsail is down, so rolling your main is a breeze and you no longer need a topping lift. The big improvement is in the installation. No more clevis pins and multiple rods to adjust the length and return force. Instead, the unit arrives at its longest length and you choose from two sets of rods that each provide different return force. Then measure and cut the rods for a custom fit. Both the mast and boom fittings are included, along with proper drill bit, tap, and allen wrenches needed for installation. Model 312/400 Boomkickers require no drilling or tapping and are a snap to install and adjust mounting independently of the boom. The SO4INLK Boomkicker for the Interlake has pre-selected rods and a fastpin at the mast end for quick rigging and de-rigging when trailering.
