Selden 100mm Plain Bearing Blocks
Selden 100mm Plain Bearing Blocks can handle up to a 4 ton load. They are ideal for outhaul arrangements, sheets and halyards. The block features a plain bearing with acetal bushing and two axial Derlin bearings. these stabilize the sheave when the rope enters or exits the block with an angle. Machined, black anodised aluminum sheave and cheeks. A set screw that enables the swivel to be switched to a fixed shackle. The swivel pin is hollow and chamfered to reduce weight. All stainless parts are insulated from aluminum to prevent corrosion. Quick and easy to dismantle for maintenance.

Selden 16mm Plain Bearing Block is a small stainless block designed for flag lines, lazy jacks and similar applications. Features Electro polished cheeks, smooth rounded edges and a fixed strap for lashing. Available with two alternative sheaves, composite or brass.

The Single Strap 20 mm Plain Bearing Block features an acetal sheave, stainless steel strap for best strength and longevity. A stiff fibre reinforced cheek to prevent lines from wedging.

Selden 50mm Plain Bearing Blocks provide great performance in applications with heavy and static loads. Typically used for Halyard tuning, Mainsheet systems, mast foot and mast head blocks and boom vangs.

Plain Bearing Blocks feature a stainless steel strap for best strength and longevity. Composite, 50/50 glass fibre/polyamide. Acetal 50mm sheave. Torsional rigid cheeks in glass fibre filled composite to prevent lines from jamming. A practical switch that changes the swivel into a fixed shackle.

The fiddle twin-cam acts as an endless furling line used for Selden Code X Furling systems.

Selden Plain Bearing Block Quick Lock Blocks feature A spring loaded arm for a precise and reliable locking operation. The spring holds the arm in open or closed positions. The quick lock position is intended for temporary use only, and does not replace a clutch or a cleat. A 60mm acetal sheave. Torsionally rigid cheeks in glass fibre filled composite that helps prevent lines from jamming. Radial loads are absorbed by a stainless strap inside the cheeks. A stainless Steel reinforcement outer for increased safety. The block can be easily reconfigured to have the arm on the other side.

Selden High Load Plain Bearing Blocks
Selden High Load Plain Bearing Blocks are optimized for wires or Dyneema/Spectra core. Designed for wire applications subject to rig loads, e.g. backstays.

Technical features include stainless steel, electro polished cheeks, anodised aluminum sheave and polymer plain bearing bushing. The outer side plates increase the breaking load, but still optimizing the weight. Sheave is V-shaped for wires with light holes to reduce weight. Two polyamide washers on pin/ bushing to reduce play between wire terminal and cheeks.
