Ronstan Furlers

Ronstan furlers feature advanced drum technology that incorporates a sophisticated furling line groove profile and cross hold geometry to grip the furling line securely. Guide rollers minimize friction and rope wear on the furling line. Combined with a floating PTFE perimeter strip to ensure that an unloaded furling line can't fall from the drum or become snagged. Optimum performance is reached with drum diameters matching load ratings.

Connections are secure and snag free, with retained quick release clevis pins. Maintenance is kept to a minimum with a factory sealed, maintenance free bearing. Hardened roller bearings and races provide smooth high load performance. Made of hard anodized grade 6061 T6 aluminum for durability and corrosion protection. Grade 2205 stainless steel is used for the load bearing shaft for optimum strength to weight ratio. Multiple attachment options for different set ups. Furler drum can be set at 0 or 90 degree attachment.

All furlers include bottom furling drum with top swivel. Top Swivel HR Shackle is included in all models with the exception of the RFRS028700.

Find the correct attachment point for your Ronstan furler. HR Shackles are designed to secure the top swivel. Drum shackles are available in two configurations depending on the model. The Series 85 furler has a snap shackle, while the rest of the line has trigger shackles. Simply match your series number to the necessary attachment and find the part number.
