Your jib halyard has always controlled both jib luff and rig tension with no independence. With this set up you can adjust only the luff tension. This leaves the jib halyard affecting rig tension only. Best of all, it's a one handed operation - just tug one line to pull on cunningham tension, tug the other to release tension.
The system uses 1/8 in Vectran and Dyneema lines and a ﾓsliding splice. in The working end has a stainless sailmaker eye, a 48-carrier, DCS Spectra cover to protect against chafe and a small eye on the other end.
