Flying Scot Towing Bridle is made up of two separate pieces of Nylon Brait, the first piece is the Y-bridle- which has two legs that snap together around the chainplates with a Sea Dog Stainless steel ring and a Wichard Carbine Snap Hook.
The second assembly uses another Wichard snap hook for attachment to the bow, acting as an alignment line to keep the boat pointed forward under tow.
This configuration allows a vessel that has been capsized and/or is full of water to safely drain under tow from a powerboat.
See this link for more instructions on how to set up the towing assembly.
