While the process of placing an international order with APS is no different from a domestic order, there are a few differences regarding payment and shipping.
What Orders are Considered International?
An order is considered to be an international order if either the billing or shipping address is outside of the United States.
Payment of International Orders
Payment of international orders depends on the final total dollar amount of the order, including shipping. We use major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover) or wire transfer for payment. To ensure that the credit card charge is approved, please take care to enter the billing address exactly as it appears on your monthly credit card statement - any deviations from this will likely result in the charge being declined.
If the order total dollar amount is over our threshold, a wire transfer of funds must be remitted to APS. Please referance this document for more details about APS Inbound Wire Transfers.
Shipping of International Orders
The rates can be found on our shipping rates page.
Orders for international shipment typically take one to two business days of processing before leaving our Shipping Department -- orders will only ship out when all of the items are in-stock and available to ship.
Sales Taxes, Duty & VAT
APS does not charge sales tax, import duty or VAT on international orders. To understand what charges your national/local authorities may collect at the time of delivery, please contact your local customs bureau. Any refused shipments due to unpaid taxes, import duty or VAT charges will be charged for the shipping fees incurred, and only refunded for products once they are recieved back by APS.
