Last year the unit would not turn on properly. It gave me a lot of garbage on the display. After doing some research, I found out that this is probably a dead battery. The unit has no way of being serviced. The only option is replacement.
For the price of this unit, I think there should be an option to replace the battery. Ideally make it user serviceable, but sending it in for if he would also be OK. Right now all it's worth is putting in a landfill.
