Harken's Mid Range CB (Captive Ball) Traveler Cars are used on Keelboats from 27-34 feet. The one-piece solid aluminum construction is lightweight and strong. Machined aluminum Hardkote-anodized races permit Torlon balls to transition smoothly from the active-to-return race for smooth trimming or easing. Stainless steel wire guides keep the balls captive when the car is off the track. Pivoting shackle cars have low pivot points to handle non-vertical loads.
HT2701B car uses 48 - 5/16 in Torlon Balls per car. Each car requires a minimum radius of 8 Feet on a curved track.
- Mainsheet cars
- Jib sheet cars
- Control lines
Note: Harken Captive Bearing cars are designed for Harken's captive ball track, and will not fit older Harken track. Older, non-Captive Ball cars do fit on the new track designed for Captive Ball Cars. The difference is the deeper indentation, which makes the T of the track more pronounced, and allows room for the wire guide that holds the balls captive.
