Hi, this is Kyle from APS and I'm here to share with you some of the characteristics of our one and a half inch nylon webbing. It's just a flat, simple, inexpensive, utilitarian webbing; because it's nylon, it will be abrasion resistant but it will not be nearly as UV stable if you use it above deck.
This is commonly used for below deck applications. On dinghy's using, say a finish washer and a self tapping screw, or even better yet, a machine screw, on either side this would be used to secure inflatable buoyancy bags on dinghies; on bigger boats, down below for securing all kinds of things against bulk heads or any flat surface.
