The Force 4 is highly waterproof, breathable, and ergonomic which is more than appreciated on the firehose runs you slog your way through to get around the course. Add the SLAM X-Pads to the jacket, spray top or long johns for extra protection. SLAM Force 4 Jacket Gray or Red SM - 3XL, Men's/Unisex [Sizing Chart] Fabric: 3-Layer Nylon Rip Stop Laminate with thermo-taped seams. Fit: Athletic "European" cut, room for light layering. Closures: Front double closure, double collar design -- external collar has waterproof zip; internal collar is constructed of neoprene to guarantee comfort and a waterproof closure, neoprene cuff closure with ergonomic grip, adjustable neoprene waistband with dual velcro closures. Other: Hand pockets, pocket on left sleeve with velcro closure and reinforced knife pocket, drainage holes on the chest, back of collar and front pocket, highly visible roll-away hood, Reflexite patches on hood and shoulders, elastic mesh inner elbow pockets for removable X-Pads which are meant to absorb and disperse shock.
