Boats with 24' to 40' LOA's, such as the Farr 40 use Tylaska's Press Lock Junior to trim, release, and re-lead sheets during tight mark roundings. The shackle opens when the two opposing triggers are pressed. The opposing trigger mechanism is ideal for sheets and other applications requiring a fitting small enough to pass through the lead cars and make re-leading a sheet easier. They are also used for halyards, outhauls, and lead changers.
The Jr. has a breaking strength of 9,300 pounds.
