Standing Rigging

Roller Swaging Services

Our riggers of produce standing rigging using 1x19 or Dyform stainless steel wire to exact specifications.  The utilize four different types of swaging machines allowing us to roller swage wire from 1/16" to 5/16", with no limitations of hardware type.

Roller Swaging (machine swaging) is by definition "cold roll forging".  This process forces the strands of wire and the terminal together under great pressure, causing a bond that cannot be separated even if the wire is pulled in excess of its breaking strength.  We use a precision mechanical swaging machine to reduce work hardening of the fittings making our swages safer, straighter, stronger and longer lasting.  We have four different types of swaging machines to choose from depending on the type of rigging.
