More information on Doughnuts and Stopper Balls:

These products may appear small and insignificant, but they can make the world of difference in the right applications! Most commonly doughnuts are used in two places; either on lifelines and rails as a sail protector allowing your jib to roll smoothly through tacks or as shackle guards on spinnaker sheets and guys to keep the shackle from jamming up your pole. You can also find these doughnuts, available in many different sizes, on spreaders and trapeze handles.

Stopper balls can also be used for a few different functions. Put them on the end of a control line for easier adjustment or on sheets and halyards as a shackle guard. While these stopper balls are available in a few different diameters, they can be drilled out to accommodate thicker line sizes. A variety of colors allows you to color code and easily identify lines.

APS stocks many different options and styles of doughnuts and stopper balls so you can pick the one that’s right for you!
